The Creative Writers Circle at Texas State University, hosted through the Writing Center, is an in-person and Zoom-enabled community that welcomes writers of all genres and experience levels.. Through sharing work, constructive critique, and engaging discussions, members not only broaden their own artistic vocabulary but also foster an environment of inclusivity and creative growth.

Come join us to socialize, learn, and be inspired by the multitude of voices and styles that make up the ever-evolving world of creative writing.

Join us for Write Time, a weekly writing group for graduate students working on writing their theses and dissertations.

We meet both in-person inside the University Writing Center and on Zoom. Sessions are 2 hours and consist of 25-minute work blocks with 5-minute breaks in between to help writers maximize productivity during the two hours. New writers are always welcome so stop in any time, we'd love to see you!
